Missed Appointment & Late Cancellation Policy

At Aevora Health, we’re deliberate about how we run our clinic: we protect time, we plan care thoughtfully, and we treat everyone’s schedule with respect – yours, our clinician’s, and other clients’ who are waiting for appointments.

When you book an appointment, that time is reserved specifically for you. Your clinician blocks that slot, prepares for your session, and (in many cases) turns away other clients who would happily take that time. With late notice, it’s often not possible to reallocate the appointment – which results in more than just an administrative impact.

Notice period

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the appointment to someone else.

We have access to the clinic’s voicemail outside business hours, including weekends – so if you need to change a Monday appointment, please leave a message over the weekend rather than waiting for Monday morning.

Fees

To be fair and consistent for all clients, the following applies:

  • Late cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice): $50
  • Missed appointment (failed to cancel, and did not attend): $50

 

Extenuating circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If something genuinely unavoidable happens, please let us know as soon as possible – our aim is to be kind and reasonable while also protecting the time and care of our clinician and other clients.
